Panic! on the Disco is a pop rock/electronica band centered out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is made from Brendon Urie (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and his early life good friend, Spencer Smiths (drums), along side their schoolmate, Ryan Ross (guitar, keyboard, backing vocals).
To advertise their song, the band made contact with Pete Wentz (of Fall Out Boy) using his LiveJournal website. Impressed by using the band, Wentz personally met with the band and signed them to his imprint label Decaydance. Under the label, the band released their debut album, A Fever You Cant Sweat Out, which might debut at #112 on the Billboard 200 album charts.
Featured in Spin mag as their band of the day in early October 2005, achieving #1 on the MySpace chart, and regularly staying in PureVolumes Top 10 chart, could in basic terms help grow the bands attractiveness. An visual appeal on MTVs TRL on January 17, 2006, on the optimal in their music video for I Write Sins Not Tragedies, also helped garner the band lots publicity.
